iPhone Case Mold
Two-part mold for an iPhone case — designed with a sprue and fan gate system, full draft on all walls, and a clean parting line along the case perimeter. Cross-section view shows cavity geometry and wall thickness uniformity.
Molded Parts

SPC Logo — 3-Cavity Mold
Three-cavity mold for the South Park Commons logo — single sprue fanning into three balanced runners, one per cavity. Designed for maximum throughput per shot with consistent fill across all cavities.
Design Considerations
- Draft Angles: All vertical walls designed with 1–3° draft for clean ejection without surface damage.
- Gate & Runner Design: Fan gates and balanced runner trees to ensure even fill and minimize weld lines.
- Parting Line Placement: Parting lines positioned at natural geometry transitions to hide flash and simplify tooling.
- Multi-Cavity Layout: Cavities balanced symmetrically around the sprue for equal fill pressure across all shots.
- Material: Parts designed for ABS and TPU, with wall thickness and corner radii tuned for each material's flow characteristics.
- Tooling: Molds designed for P20 steel tooling, compatible with standard China injection molding equipment.
